Sometimes I wish I didn't get it

Sometimes you read a passage from Scripture and you have a hard time understanding how your life relates to it.

Sometimes it you wish that was the case.

Proverbs 30:1-3

"The words of Agur son of Jakeh. The oracle.
The man declares, I am weary, O God;
I am weary, O God, and worn out.
Surely I am too stupid to be a man.
I have not the understanding of a man.
I have not learned wisdom,
nor have I knowledge of the Holy One."

Luckily, it works both ways.

Isaiah 41:14

"Fear not, you worm Jacob,
you men of Israel!
I am the one who helps you, declares the Lord;
your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel."
